New Clash :/

Okay, so there is a new 3 DVD set available under the "Clash" moniker. Is anyone else feeling a little iffy about buying this one? I was completely loyal to the Clash series until the whole Hornet's nest/Renny/I forget series of which I paid good $ for all 3 DVDs the content of which would not even have filled one.

My point is: I wish the Clash series would stick to actual "clashes" of top pros getting together specifically for a "clash". The coverage from the 3 DVD series 'US Doubles' was pretty weak and the shots and angles just werent there. The coverage was disjointed, the single camera style was not very good, and the commentary seemed rushed and thrown together. I would MUCH rather have the commentary recorded after the fact with the actual players....maybe include some actual on the course banter...and have the players respect the camera rather than the camera man constantly having to ask players to move or just miss the shot due to poor positioning.

After Blue Ribbon Pines it looked like things were on an upswing, but Im a little hesitant about this one...Ill probably buy it anyway :/

I agree, I'm not looking for tournament coverage when I buy a Clash DVD, I'm looking for kind of a dream match of top pro's killing a course.
I'm a little interested in this 3 disc set though, Hyland park sounds interesting.

I just realized how shitty my original post was. Sorry. I was wondering if the clash dvds of the us doubles was the same as the ones that I posted the links to on youtube or if they are different. I was unaware of a new clash coming out and thought aaron was referring to the us doubles as the "new". Sorry for any confusion.

Wow. I litterally was just on CLash ordereing some dvds. I got hornets nest and BRP. I hadn't seen them, so I went for it. Paying 36 for one tourneys coverage is to steep foe me.

By those links alone, that clash dvd looks like shit. I'm sorry, but extremely boring, holes weren't that interesting, and the second part of that video was basically all on one hole 300 ft away zoomed in. No thanks.

What dvd's would people here suggest as a MUST HAVE. I'd like to have something around to pop in when the "What are all these frisbees for?" conversation pops up.

Clash brp is my favorite of the series, but my fiancé bought me the tupelo bay DVD and my god it is the worst disc golf DVD I've seen. If you watched any YouTube videos then you've seen this DVD. Attrocious video quality, random holes to follow (you get no sense of the leaders if the tourney or standings of the competitors) and on the second DVD Billy Is announcing with a mouth full of food on one hole. Really disappointed in the quality of this product.

The Tali Open 2009 dvd when it comes out, most definitely. The youtube material by lcgm8 is already by far the best disc golf footage available and from what I gather the dvd versions are going to be even better.
