Im getting a c-pd soon and I was wondering, what difference you are noticing in the flights of the c-pd and the xxx when thrown backhand.
Or are you only using the xxx now for overhand/thumber shots?

The C-PD does not have a +HSS, the XXX does. The XXX is just sick overstable, the C-PD still has a Teebirdish flight path with an accentuated fade. I use the XXX for upshots and basically midrange distance in the wind.

I'm just seeing how the Nuke works as my primary D driver, so the Halo's are taking a break. I still haven't made an official decision on my Stalkers, but right now I'm enjoying the Striker. I still need more time to make a decision.

The Striker is a great disc, but I have found that I have no real need for it in my bag with all my PDs. I used this setup today and it worked great. The last couple weeks I've really been getting my Buzzzes out there, so I have no need for a slow fwy driver.

Yeah. To tell you the truth, I'm not sure I'm good enough to really know any more discs than that, though I've been trying for a long time. I hope I can develop some real touch with the 5 I have. So far its paying off and I'm scoring better.

Let us know how the stalkerless bag goes, I think I'm going to give that a try as well for a bit. I will still have to carry a beat up SE leopard for crazy hyzerflip stuff until I get a p-pd super trashed.

My bet is it not working out for very long, two weeks tops You're going to miss the ease with which you can hit certain lines and distances with the Stalker even if you think now that the PD or Buzzz will cover them for you. The speed gap is going to bother you at some point, especially if you have a couple bad rounds and aren't hitting the shots you want at that range.

It's been over a month since I took my Stalkers out, and for whatever reason my driving has seen the biggest improvement in terms of consistency and line precision that I have noticed in the last couple of years. My cutoff for Buzzzes/PDs is about 330'. My powered down C/S/P PD shots look much prettier and are more effortless than my Stalker shots were, and my stretched out Buzzz shots also look better than my Stalker shots had. I've had to add a more overstable Buzzz in the Stalker's absence. Perhaps the most surprising development is my love for my original S-PD. This disc is extremely versatile, and with the right release I can get shots from 330' to 380' that have very little turn or fade. In the field today I also had one shot with that disc that was longer than any of my Nuke shots of the day. That's versatility...to be able to fly on a 330' touch shot through the trees with no turn and about 10' of fade, and then be able to fly 450' on a slow S curve in the wide open.

Needless to say, I'm very happy with my super minimalist setup. The Buzzz is my cornerstone, with the PD coming in a close second. Now that I'm past the honeymoon phase with the PD and I tested dozens of discs in the interim, I feel its pretty safe to say its going to be a keeper long term. I'm getting to the point where I do so much with the PDs (all lines flippy to overstable, backhand and forehand, from 300' low ceiling lasers to 450' wide open distance lines) that I will not be able to simple insert a random disc and play my game.

Nice bag, I'm happy it's working out so well for you.

I finally have a p-pd beat enough that it's pretty easy to turn with some power on it and easy to smooth straight to distances of >280 or so, it's a beautiful thing. I can't drop the stalker yet as it has been flying exactly how I want it to since I've been using it. Yesterday I smashed it into some chains directly out of my hand (it fell out). I think I could make my bag work with nothing between the rocs and the PDs and still may but for now I'll keep the stalker around. Do you think it's easier for you to bridge the gap between midrange and PD because you use buzzes which are the longest mids?

Disgusted with the Nuke's durability, I've tried some discs out and now I'm working with some different Destroyers to see if they can do what I need them to BH and FH for distance. I'll know soon which ones will be in my bag.

make sure you try some first runs and some domey echo ones. You should be well off if you have both of them in your bag

I've got some domey Echo Stars and I have one unthrown red max weight First Run. I doubt I'll throw the FR because it is worth a lot more unthrown. I've also got champs and pros. The newer champ ones seem really nice...I have a super domey one that is my most overstable, and a flatter one that bombs for FH.
