First PDGA event

I threw the 2 worse round of this year. I had been throwing +5 / +7 on this course for the last 2 weeks. Only managed to put up a +12 and a +14. I met Matt Orum and drank a couple of beers with him after the tournament (he has a 10 shot lead at the moment). He was a pretty cool guy to talk to. He signed my tournament disc.

Since it's your first PDGA event, I think it might help for you to see these rounds as your best "official" rounds of the year because you never faced the aspect of tournament rules, pace and pressure before. It's only onward and upward from here. Good luck.

Pace and pressure probably not, but we play tournament rules everyday. I played bad today, first PDGA tournament or not.

I forgot to add to was EXTREMELY windy, which did not help at all.

So are you saying there is a second set of rounds for the tournament? If so, just adjust yourself for the wind tomorrow and you'll be set! And if not, don't worry about it. Like the poster above me said, you're only going up from here.

Yes the 3rd and final round was the day after. I shot a +5 so huge improvement:)
