Don't forget, if you have DirecTV you get tons of coverage on channels 700-706 (I think) and that ESPN coverage starts at 4.

I would really like to see Els win it this year and think this is probably going to be his best chance. He is playing really well and has been putting lights out. If he can keep his mental game together he should be in contention on Sunday.

I read a lot of Sobel's blog on espn, and he mentioned that Els has traditionally never played well here. I agree, it is his best chance, but I wouldn't put money on him to finish in the top 5.

I'm picking Steve Stricker. The course fits his style (greens and fairways), he's got a good mental game, and he's been playing very consistently for the past year.
Dark horse is AK (Anthony Kim). He shot a course record 11 birdies during a round in his 1st masters last year. He's like Tiger was in 1997: totally fearless, and he hits it every bit as far as Tiger did as a kid. If he can keep the huge numbers off his card, Kim could go really low.

I could deal with Kim winning the whole thing. He is fun to watch and anything that gets him more air time is OK with me.

All I have to say is that a combination of the Master's Iphone app and my new Ipad are probably going to result in me not getting anything done at all the rest of this week.

No pick for the win, but being a Shreveport native, am glad to see Toms tied for the lead currently.

I would like to see Kim win. He is coming in hot after winning the Shell Houston Open in the playoff.

I don't think that Tom Watson can really keep up for 4 rounds at Augusta, but I remember watching him play a lot when I was a child with my father on TV, so he's got a soft spot in my heart..

It's cool to seem him at the top of the leader board on a course that he felt was too long for him to be competitive.

Also downloading the iPhone app as we speak :).

AK doesn't have the maturity to win the Masters yet - but I would love to see him up near the top for excitement.

I'm looking at this like a handicapper so bare with me.

I took Tiger @ 5-1, those are long odds for the worlds greatest golfer. Less than 24 hours later he sits on Bodog at 4 to 5  :D

Darkhorse wise, I like Jim Furyk(11-2) - or one of the Englishmen Like Lee Westwook(4-1) or Ian Poulter(9-2).

Furyk is +4. :(

I don't think Kim has the maturity to win, but he sure has the physical game and the power to win at that course. I would have said Tiger didn't have the maturity in '97 to do it either, but he had all the gifts.

Watson shred's this course that's "too long" with a -5 67. Coming close to winning the Open Championship (aka the British Open) is one thing, but to lead the pack (early in the day) at the Masters is a totally different thing all together.

The old man can still play, that's for sure.

I've been a Watson fan since I was a lad, and it's great to see him playing well.

For a guy that hasn't played golf since November, that guy named Tiger is doing pretty well...
