i saw the mars volta back in september in austin it was pretty amazing

I saw The Mars Volta at the Midland a couple of weeks back (and would recommend it to anyone with an appreciation for artistic music), and am going to see The Republic Tigers at the Beaumont Club tonight.

That's what I've been told...

Really good show. Maynard's voice was a lot less processed than I had heard on the Puscifer albums. Lots of crazy videos.

I went to see him once. On the way there the radio dj was saying for you ladies or you sensitive guys going to the show. I got really self conscious then once I saw all the eye candy I forgot all about it.

Within the last month I was able to see Les Claypool, Hank Williams III, Hillstomp, & the opening bands for each show. Been a pretty good month. Got some good shows coming up, also.

By the way, Ben Harper is pretty damn good live. Hope you enjoi yourself.
