How far is that course from Austin?


It's about 30 miles South-West of Austin. Compared to Dallas disc golf, I would say Circle R qualifies as "middle of nowhere"...but then again, I don't know what things are like up there in Oregon :)

This was the first course I ever played where I could stop talking and experience complete and utter silence...it's a beautiful thing.

Damn that building looks almost like the UC lol, I was there back in 97 so guess it's been awhile! lol bet the campus looks a lot different.

This is Emily Hardy. She is a sponsored pro from San Diego and one of the women players who can throw really far. I think she tops out around 360' or so. This drive was a 320' shot, she hit the basket.

btw which course is that? I havent played any of the western slope courses yet.

That's Vail. You should hit that tournament this year. It's a 1 day C Tier at Vail. You ride the gondola up to the top of Vail mountain and play. It's the Adventure Ridge Tournament. It's FANTASTIC! They even give you lunch. At least last year they did. I was in first going into Round 2 then I choked.
September 1st is the day for the tournament.
