To me it was more like a disc that's already in your bag coming out in a new plastic. This one is definitely better for me. It is a take on the Voodoo...somewhat like the Timberwolf of putters. If you ordered some Voodoos in different plastics and one was working great for you, would you use it?

Was talking about how you go through a variety of discs. It's not like we all do it, but you've made a commitment to keeping up with the thread over an extended period of time, so we all get to see how things change for you

Yeah, its been a crazy year. Hopefully I can stick it out with the discs I have for a while. They fit together really nicely. The only thing I'm not sure about is the distance driver slot, which is also the area most likely to see disc improvement.

I think I've narrowed down my Destroyers to the ones competing most seriously for a spot in the bag.

These two are still competing in a general way, but may be different enough to carry both

This one's in the bag. Its the most predictably stable one I've tried, especially in headwinds.

I still want to try a Dx because I throw distance shots around water a lot and I would like an expendable one.

Out of curiosity, how do you find having both the XXX and C-PD in the same bag working out? I recently picked up a XXX to try out and since you've have both in your bag for a while I wanted to get an idea of how well they'll play together...

Out of curiosity, how do you find having both the XXX and C-PD in the same bag working out? I recently picked up a XXX to try out and since you've have both in your bag for a while I wanted to get an idea of how well they'll play together...

They go really well together. The C-PD holds its line for me on a hard throw with a predictable yet still relatively late fade and goes about 350-360' on hyzer lines. I have 2 stabilities of XXX's, and the less stable one is still has more HSS and much more LSS than my C-PD. If I CRUSH this XXX with a touch of anny I can get a 350' hyzer with it. The same throw with my C-PD would never pull out of its line until the very end and would go 380'. My more stable XXX is insane and has a +HSS no matter how I throw it.

I also like throwing spikes and thumbers with the XXX as it can take incredible abuse with that blunt nose without losing stability. If I threw these shots all of the time with my C-PD I have a feeling it would lose its overstability faster and would not be as useful for me. The C-PD doesn't perform as well on these shots either.

The Glo Z is a great Buzzz, probably the most versatile if you are only carrying one Buzzz. However, the 2FR Buzzz is nice too, and quite a bit longer. Consider I throw a lot of Ions on shorter shots and my PD is long for a fairway type driver, the longer 2FR Buzzz fills a better range gap than the shorter Glo Buzzz. I can always put it back in my bag as well...I will not be selling any of my Glo Buzzzes, just like I didn't sell any 2FRs when I switched to the Glo's.

My bag hasn't changed much in the last month, but I've tweaked it a little. For consistency of feel (and because of the summer heat) I've gone to all mediums with my Ions. I've also put my lighter P-PD back in because I lost one DGR PD and my other one is getting flippy kind of fast.

177 2FR Buzzz...almost a FWY driver

This is what I've been thinking.

I've been using my buzzzes and comets for everything 400' and under (with some obvious exceptions where a driver is called for) lately and have had really good success. For one, they don't fade nearly as hard and don't skip as far as true drivers. I'm really surprised that more people don't use Rocs/Buzzzes/Comets/Etc for this length vs something like a TB. I know the obvious answer of people not having the power but I think many more people do but have been seduced by the "latest and greatest" from the manufacturers telling them they "need" a driver.
