I lied. I went ahead and cut it. I'm really happy. A couple small bleeds around the hands. I did have a couple drops of dye land on the back of the disc from some splash when storing the dye. I didn't notice it until it set in a little.

I just figured out the tiny bleeds. Its from the deep ass hotstamp. If you've seen the Big D in the Desert stamp, you can see all the tiny details in the center and thats where it bled. It was a black stamp and those were burnt in deeper.

Whipped this up quickly. Up can tell. Quite a few little bleeds. Kinda neat.

The Android one's didn't turn out great. They bled around the deep ass hotstamp and the esp didn't take the dye well. I like the others. I tried and sucsessfully got a flared edge on the blue disc with squares, but less than I wanted.

Hey Dave, try the blue one again, but cut out a circle that is smaller than your disc by a half-inch or so and discard all the stuff outside the circle. Then apply to your disc and dye, with a small black frame around the outer edge and no wing bleeding. PM me if I didn't explain it well.

Stupid Discraft ESP stamps. They must employ convicted arsonists to do their hotstamping.

I thought about dying the rim. I wanted the bleeds, I just didn't get enough of them. If you look at a couple pages back, I messed up on the disc with hyzer on it, but I like the effect that it got. I tried to recreate it and did it slightly, just not enough.

Also, the esp discs started peeling really bad when taking the stamp off. It's weird.

In that case I recommend doing it the way I described, then going back with a fresh, uncut piece of vinyl to get those streaks on the wing. The reason is this- when you take your design to the edge of the disc like that, if you cut it all off in a big circle and dye a thin frame the vinyl pieces won't be stretched nearly as much (all the way around the wing in addition to the flight plate's curvature) and those bad bleeds you have on the front will stop pestering you as much.

Those streaks on the wing are cool enough to warrant using a fresh second piece, yeah?

Plaid Power!!! I wanted the squares to be blue, but I made it to dark. Just a couple small bleeds around the intersection

Are those a lot of Bleeds I see? I wonder if you are getting your Dye to hot?

First plotter cut. The bleeds are from a frame the plotter default cuts I didn't know it did. I tried patching it with scraps, bit still got bleeds. The actual stencil turned out great. Damn learning curve.

Looks good minus the bleeds. Now were the bleeds due to the vinyl not being wide enough?
