good luck and all that to all that wish to stop smoking. I never picked up smoking, since it tastes like SHIT, and I've never gotten any high from smoking cigs so didn't see the allure really.

It's been just about a year since I had my last cigarette. Had an interesting random chat with the ex the other night, and now for the past couple days I've been craving a smoke more than I have since the first two weeks of quitting. Sigh. :|

Holding strong so far, but I'm glad I was able to find my e-cig (what originally helped me quit last year.)

Hey, the strong addiction to nicotine only fuels my hatred of cigarettes even more...I hate that I can never be immune from cravings for the bastards!

It's been 3.5 years since I quit (10 years ~1 pack/day). Always told myself I would quit before I had a child, and stayed true.

The cravings are gone, never tempted. The one downside is my physical/mental reaction when being around others smoking now. For the longest time, I didnt mind being in close proximity with others who were smoking. I actually liked it that way. I am no judge, people can do what they want. Now recently, last 6 months or so, I find the smell offensive. It actually annoys me that I am annoyed. Am I alone on this?

I'm still in the "doesn't mind being in close proximity to smokers" phase of my quitting, it's only been a month and some. I've heard of other quitters being annoyed by cigarette smoke though so I don't think you're alone.

Yeah, I've known people that have quit that hate being around the smoke or the smell now. I think it's pretty common to feel that way once you've stopped for a while.

It has been three months since I have had a cigarette and I have stronger cravings now than I did when I was smoking. All the guys I play with smoke cigs while we play and I actually stand closer to them so I can smell that sweet sweet smell of processed death.

Still going strong since May 11th. I did however, enjoy a tiny bit of smokeless tobacco during this time.

How's everyone else doing? We gotta stick together.

This is my 3rd week since trying to quit a bad Copenhagen habit. I've been sneaking a few hits on the little Swisher Sweets to get by...just want to quit NIC completely. :(
