Rebel Rebel dye

Postby BennettUA » Mon Jun 21, 2010 7:28 pm

Did this for Rockyraccoon, a confederate flag on a 176g ESP Meteor. Disc was originally a misprint:

The stamp is quite deep. Actually, BOTH stamps are deep in spots. I was afraid this dye would bleed through the stamp seams no matter how much pressure I put on the vinyl, so I used my spin dye mix to paint over the mask. Turned out great, with the exception of a few small bleeds on the underneath rim(all from the seam bead on the Meteor mold). The design covers the entire top of the disc, and the mask is very clean. Should look even sweeter flying through the Smokey mountain air!

It's about time someone else started painting that stuff on! Bennett, I've learned a few tricks so far with the painting, and I'm sure you will learn a few as well, so let me know if you have any questions and I'll do the same.
