Grip Strength

I was just wondering what everyone does to improve grip strength? Powerball Gyrascope, Steel Hand grips (those things you squeeze) Stress ball? I am looking to improve my grip strength..any suggestions :?: :?:

I was hoping for replies myself. One think I've done for grip strength (not really for disc though) is squeeze a tennis ball. You can do this until the ball wears out then replace it for a new one.

If you do this all the time, it will wear down (lost structure). I also do this as stress relief.

I forget where I learned this; I think I picked it up from guitar players.

if you do any ones that involve mainly flexing, i'd also recommend picking up some heavy rubber bands and then "cone" your fingers and extend them to maintain muscle balance on the backs of your hands.

as for grip strength w/ dg, it's hard to describe but it's more like a pitching grip in baseball... firm, but like an egg..

i grip the crap out of it. the tighter the grip the more spin you will impart to it due to the more initial force needed to break your grip.

I use the powerball. No need for the RPM meter on one. the basic model will more than surfice.
