So I attempted my first dye tonight. I'd have to say aside from a bit of bleeding its a smashing success for a first attempt! The vinyl I got was cheep, so I had to make due with it, which is what caused the bleeding (the tape lifted up while dying where I had previously worked out bubbles.) But lesson learned and now I have a new hobby!

well done. looks nice. what vinyl did you use? i think we need to rank vinyl and find out which kind is the best.

I used some generic crap from an art shop. I had trouble finding what I wanted (3m) so I bought what I could find just to get started. I don't recommend the stuff, too thin and frail. It's amazing how well this dye worked out considering how weak that vinyl is.
