It's been a while since I've posted here, but since this is where it all started I wanted to come back and show my personal disc dye evolution of what I've been creating in the lab (still entirely hand cut), enjoy!

Those are some gorgeous discs. Love the color mixing. Exceptional circles on that drone. Those are a bugger to cut out. Like the disc brake and the Wonka discs. I'd hate to have to find a lot of those discs though. Talk about camo.

Thanks for all the positive feedback, sorry but the color mixing is my own "secret method" that I stumbled upon after messing around with the saran wrap dyes, and I don't use the dip method anymore...

Still waiting patiently for a comment from ChUcK, you still around "Dye Master"?

You got to see some new ideas and eye candy, take from it what you will. You just sound like you want the easy answer that took me 6 months to evolve my technique ... good luck with that! Just start messing around with different techniques and you'll figure out what's cool to you and think outside the box, If you're creative enough it shouldn't be a problem.

id be willing to bet that you learned to dye in the first place from a tutorial on this site that someone posted to help others out.......cuz that's what people do here
i just dont see the motivation for keeping a "secret" technique, i highly doubt its gonna make you rich or anything, its a dyed frisbee not a fossil fuel alternative

^agreed. Just like the seran wrap method,the mixing ratios for spin dyes,cutting techniques,dye recipes, everything has been free to the public. It's almost like a slap in the face. You don't bite the hand that feeds ya. I know you learned from watching chucks tutorials.wich is y ur so eager to hear what he has to say. I get sometimes people don't wanna gie up secrets blah blah blah. But like jesse said,it aint gonna make you rich. You do realize were on a public forum with tips and tricks for playing and learning to play dg right?

Your call whether to share or not, but all it's going to end up doing is getting other people to ruin lots of good plastic until they figure it out, and then they'll share it with us.
I've been doing a lot of hand-painting with an alcohol/dye/soap mix, and getting similar results, but I haven't tried anything so "rainbow." It surely is a beautiful technique, and I can see why you wouldn't want to share it with others in the hobby.
Great dyes, by the way. Very clean lines, and if those are all hand-cut circles, you should be a surgeon! A++
