Man I wish I had taken up disc golf when I lived in CA :( I could have been playing year round and on pretty courses like that for the 6 years I lived there.

played some extreme golf this weekend at crystal mountain, which is near mt rainier national park.

walking to the hole 2 tee. on the left you can see the steepness of the fairway...

hole 3's backet, tee in background. the tee is above the trees in the middle of the picture, at the left end of the cut. you can barely make out some tiny people there. for proportion you can also see some hikers at the bottom of the dirt patch in the middle right. my first shot here was a p-pd that had such an awesome double-helix flight that i didn't even care that it went 500' past the basket (found it down by the next pin).

Awesome pics, Mark, especially that first one. I've only played Crystal once, and quickly determined that mountain golf wasn't for me. BUT, I will say that it's some of the most spectacular scenery I've had the privilege to lay eyes on.

That one from Tahoe is pretty damn gorgeous too!
