hmmmmmm in the first video i was pretty sure i saw the discs realistically fading, in that vid they seem to have comet physics

I think they generally use lid physics because they are easier to model or more readily available (probably both). If an accurate DG game were to be made they would have to model/program the physics for several hundred different discs. they seem reluctant to do this and I don't blame them. They could cheat it and just model the most popular discs for each speed range and stability range. but that would still be about 100 or so discs. the bottom line is that playing IRL is better than with a remote.

Eh, I think they could get by with say 12-20 different models of disc and still be legitimately "disc golf" oriented. It would be sweet to have every disc ever made available, but I'll wait until the David Wiggins' Disc Golf 2015 comes out for that.

Waiting for a version that is DG only, does not need fancy extra consoles and extra controlers though. I prefer playing on my PC.
