Skamahawk Video

Postby Blake_T » Fri Mar 03, 2006 12:43 am

Here's a video of Schweb throwing a "Skamahawk"
part sky roller par tomahawk... granted the flight is more like a thumber but "Skumber" doesn't sound as good.

Never seen anything quite like that before. I'm guessing you need something pretty understable. Is there anything Schweb CAN'T DO? With all the tricks in his bag, it makes you wonder if he has problems choosing 'how to throw' instead of 'what to throw'.

yah, he's got sick disc skills.

i showed him a scoobr and he hit the pin from 100' on like his 5th try.

from what i know, the skamahawk was invented for a particular hole where nothing else worked if you were going for the deuce.

ended up getting a lot of great footage from him... rollers, sidearms, chicken wings, etc.

I'd actually like to see more rolling footage. I only saw one person on your technique analysis footage throw one. I'm having problems with all my rollers. I seem to lose a lot of speed once it hits the ground.

just looks like a giant sky roller.... only by the time it comes down its lost so much momentum that it just hits the ground and stops.

Maybe a better way to describe it is an inverted grenade. looks like it has more height on it though.....hmmm i got a new weapon in my aresenal

if thrown with enough power on them and a flippy enough disc, they will flip and turn UD or even corkscrew out like a tomahawk
