1st Annual Dead Leaves Doubles - October 23rd

Postby ericdmb » Tue Sep 14, 2010 6:50 am

This is going to be a bring your own partner, fund-raising doubles event. The Forest City Disc Golf Association is trying to raise money to purchase another basket, so that the course will have 10 permanent holes.

When: Saturday October 23rd
Where: Kennedy Park DGC (Forest City, PA)

Being that the course is only 10-holes and does not have room for 18, we are going to be using 2 temp holes and will be playing 3 rounds of 12 holes. The layout for each of the 3 rounds will vary with different tee areas, mandos and OB.

Entry Fees (Per Team):
Pro - $40
AM - $30
Mixed - $30
(Optional $1 Ace Pot)

Registration - 8:00am - 9:00am
Players Meeting - 9:15am
Tee Off - 9:30am

Format:
3 rounds of 12 holes for a total of 36.

Payout:
75% to players, 25% to the course.
Pro's get cash.
Am's get plastic.

We are also trying to work out a deal to have lunch orders taken, if not there is a subway about 3 minutes from the course.

Come support a great little course this Saturday!
Forest City Disc Golf Association is going to attempt to raise some funds to expand their current 9 hole layout.
With a few temp holes set up with some water coming into play, this is sure to be a great time!
check out the full thread on the Bearclaws website for all details including event layout, fees, start times etc.
Hope to see some folks make the trip up North!
