Format: 1 round of 28 holes, 2 throws per hole, per player.

Layout: 28 hole temporary disc golf course setup on the executive 9-hole golf course. Holes are generally ranged between 180 and 250 feet.

Player Package: Guaranteed to be at least twice the value of your entry fee! The 2010 player pack includes 2 ESP Discraft Prototype discs,
a SuperColor mini, premium hat, sticker and a die-cast chrome bag tag. A $67 value!

Sanctioning: As an official Ace Race, everyone is encouraged and welcome to play. The emphasis is on having fun.

Rules of Play: Players are required to use the player package discs, and only these discs. There will be two throws per hole, per player. Scorecards are
marked with an “A” for aces (hole in one) and an “M” for holes on which they hit metal. After all players in the group have thrown, discs are
picked up and the group moves directly to the next tee. The player with the highest score after 28 holes is declared the winner. In case of
ties, the number of metal hits is used as a tiebreaker. If a tie persists, a closest to the pin contest is then used to determine the event
winner.

Grand prize: A Discraft merchandise package, including a bag and 8 new discs. Additional prizes will be awarded.

Cash Side Pot: $5 buy in available for those who wish to participate. This will be divided proportionally among the number of aces and/or metal hits.

Side Games: Including disc accuracy and putting based on “WFDF Overalls” disciplines.

 Halloween Costume Contest: Prizes awarded to best costume decided by our panel of judges.

All participants, 21 and over will receive 1 cold can of Surly beer (compliments of the Liquor Barrel locations in Golden Valley & Crystal) upon completion of the round. Participants 21 and under will receive a Vitamin Water.

We are going to tweak the 28 hole layout as much as possible to lengthen the holes so everyone will have the option of playing a golf round, at the same time we will set up on each hole a second set of tees that will be dedicated to the Ace Race throws.

Players will tee off from the long tee and proceed down the fairway to the Ace Tee where they will take their two Ace Race attempts, then proceed to finish their hole for a golf score by playing the disc thrown from the long tee and picking up their Ace Race discs.

The Ace Race tees will vary some, but will be all under 150’. You will track two scores during your round – One for Golf and one for the Ace Race.

Everyone playing will need to register and pay the 25.00 and receive an Ace Race Player Pack. There will be no additional fee for the golf round registration - it is automatic with your Ace Race registration. For those of you playing the tournament on Saturday, just a quick note. We will be sending out groups for the tournament until 1:00 pm so that everyone will be able to finish while there is still day light. If you are planning on playing the tournament it is recommended you get there early!

Also, while playing the tournament we are requesting that all players be considerate of the people who are there to do the Ace Race only and let them take their two throws and play thru.
