All in a lovely ogio stand bag.

Need to re-grip irons and pickup a new set of wedges as I'd like them to be uniform. Grips and iron hodgepodge aside, I really like this setup and shot a 98 with it on Saturday. First time breaking 100 on 18 (I've had a bunch of 45ish 9's) and I had a lot of chances to score a lot better too.

Likely to replace #10 with a broken in star max for reliable but long forehand shots. Sometimes I wish my bag was bigger but I can get most things done with the bag listed above.

nice set up, it's nice to have the different wedges, and i also rock the hybrid 2i, it's my most consistent off the tee when i haven't hit the range in a while.

The hybrid 2i does indeed get it done off the tee or off the deck with a decent lie. I should have been more specific about my wedges, I like the various angles but would like them to all be of the same make / look (preferably gunmetal like my irons).

I've never really liked hybrids that much. I know they work wonders for lots of people but I still very much prefer my irons and absolutely love my fairway woods. The feeling in your hands after the shot is just so much nicer...

Nice rig! Did you always roll with only 13 clubs? The space between your 9 and your 52 isn't too much for you?

My buddy has a titleist driver that is just beautiful, not sure what model it is though.

Yeah...I've had just the 12 clubs in the bag for a while now. I can do a lot with the ping hybrid and I suck with a 4 iron, I used to have it in there but once I added the hybrid I found I wasn't using it as much and when I did I didn't like the results. I just never liked the pitching wedge that came with the set of X-14s, so I took it out and put in a 52 and haven't looked back. It has a better feel for me.

Slight Changes:

2 wizards: beat and not as beat
3 rocs: flippy, straight, newish
1 glo z stalker: seasoned
1 ppd: beat
2 spd: seasoned and new
2 star maxs: seasoned and new (new is replaced with cfr on the windiest days)

Anything missing? If I ever get around to playing tourneys again and get a bigger bag I'll likely carry a destroyer or two, a z xtreme, and another wizard or magic.

I like it, but what's the purpose of 2 Maxes? Wouldn't a stable PD cover the beat Max? I only ask cause I know you're the minimalist type...

Good question. The Spd I was using for flicks is getting a little more highspeed turn and finishing straighter than I'd like for the shots I wanted to use it for (straight to fade with power). The beat max handles these duties well and is a bit faster so it can be thrown lower, the beatness just extends the straight part of the flight as it still fades hard. If I didn't throw as many flicks as I do, I would likely not need the beat max.

Ultra brief love affair with maxxes = over. I felt like I had to throw them wayyy too hard and with anny to do anything with them and they weren't comfy backhand. I think my my c-pd / champ boss can handle most overstable stuff until the wind gets blowing super hard (maybe these new flat firebirds will be cool).

Still rolling hard with this. Played a super windy round over the weekend and the heavy champ boss helped me stay under a few headwinds for decent D. If/when I get a bigger back for tourneys I will likely add a z extreme and max D driver (yet to be decided which one, interested in destroyers and flow atm).

Might also try a neturalish non-roc mid during the winter to protect seasoned dx rocs from being shattered on trees. Been curious about comets for a while, might also look into a fuse or something. I have a mako that preformed pretty well in the "save the beat rocs" slot last year that I may try again.
