Judging by how the boundary between the rim and the flight plate is clearly visible, and the fact that they'll first be released in P-Line, I'm guessing Pro.

Pro plastic. All of the stuff (Champ and Pro) are the softer variety.

Do you know if these discs are from the test run that were really overstable, or are they from a subsequent trial?

I think they're from a subsequent trial run. Not the really, really overstable run. I'm not sure though.
I'm sending these out to people because I injured my wrist falling a couple weeks ago. I tried gripping a disc last night, and while it didn't hurt, I couldn't put any pressure towards the back of my hand.

also these are the subsequent trial run . I spoke to mark a few weeks ago and he said the first prototypes were wicked overstable and then the 1st initial run of them were a little less overstable but still good.
