I think that was the disc fading in a full circle, I have never seen it happen, but have heard, like the worlds longest ace at Diamond-X supposedly spiraled down.

Yeah, for those silly long downhill shots, the disc turns over, runs out of gas, fades out... and starts to pick up speed again in the fade out so turns over again.... and this cycle can repeat several times
