What concerts are you going to?

I thought the Decemberists were very good live. They really interacted with the crowd well, and I found the crowd one of the most engaging since I've lived in KC.

Fitz and the Tantrums on Friday, Innerpartysystem next Tuesday.

I couldn't get in

. It was a free show, and it filled within the first 30 minutes of opening (which was 4 hours before they went on). We got there 2 hours ahead of time and they were long filled. Oh well, next time.

Arcade Fire, tonight in Vegas!

saw the National open for Arcade Fire last night at starlight in KC. national was why i went but arcade fire was great.

Local Natives were opening for them in Vegas but unfortunately my flight was delayed and I missed them. I would have been really pissed if it was the National and I missed them though. I really want to see them live. The Arcade Fire put on a hell of a live show though and the Vegas show was no exception. The Joint at the Hard Rock Casino is a fantastic venue as well.

I'm still not right from all the booze and lack of sleep last weekend.

Saw Minus the Bear and The Constellations last week. Constellations were fantastic, too bad they were the first band on and so less than half of the attendees were even there at that point. Skysaw played too but they're lame.

Probably seeing BT next Friday.
