ye, hes got a decent wingspan, so that helps, but his throwing technique is fantastic.

He's a great player but there was nothing particularly picturesque about that toss. He puts a lot of stress on that right knee/hip on that shot and doesn't get a great pivot. It's not a particularly great model for getting the disc up to the power zone either. It's a Feldberg like toss where the elbow angle doesn't collapse, or get out in front as far as most people here preach, before hitting it. You can really see the snap though, and the tendon bounce in his arm when he throws

True about the pivot, but Im pretty sure it has to do with the short carpet tee along with the board across it, if you see the other players from the same series, they all seen to have trouble pivoting well. And Im not talking specific body positions here, as Blake has said on here earlier, is that people often get way too much into specific bodypositions and dont focus nearly enough on timing. And Simon has excellent timing.

Simon is great. At EO 2009 he practiced hole one by sinking an ace then throwing 3' short dead center then hitting center Headrick. He threw an insanely long approach in the finals. Those are pretty impressive results. He can be incredibly accurate.
