Postby swel304 » Thu Mar 15, 2007 3:43 pm

got a 150 5x jk valk today and it is super soft. Just wondering if its only the 150's that were this flexible or if there are some heavier wieghts floating around with the same feel. Id really like to have one in the 165 range like this one. if anyone has any to trade or sell drop me a pm.

floppy valks

I have a few slightly heavier ones that are gummy, but nothing real heavy. I know I have a 154 that is floppy and nice, and a few 150's. You see for them to be floppy they have to be that good clear plastic with no weight stuff added, which hardens the plastic and makes it opaque. The clearest discs are most often the lightest ones.

That ice clear gummy champ plastic is pretty awesome. I found a 150 Gummy Leopard on eBay that I cherish for anhyzer shots. I was browsing through discs from a vendor at the MDGO state championship and found a gummy valk, but the vendor kept it for himself. He seemed like a cool dude, but I wasn't about to offer more money for it.

LOL here's a gummy CE Valk for the low low starting bid of $150.

I picked up a Champ clear 154 valk back in in the day. Was reallly flexible. I think ive got maybe 2 or 3 champ valks in the back of my truck, and none of em are gummy like that lighter one.
I'd say its more the lack of weight that makes it that way.

I have a couple 4x Valks with the JK Pro Stamp, but they're candy. From the inbetween CE and Champ runs. One is a 165g, gummy, transparent greenish with a blue stamp. Slight bit of use but still in good condition -- some marker on the inside rim. Let me know if you're interested.
