Removing Ink and sticker residue

I found a new 10x KC Pro Eagle today at PIAS. It seriously has zero scratches on it, but it does have someone's name and number inked near the rim, really small. There is also the sticker that PIAS had put on it, but it wont come off clean.

Any suggestions on how to remove both without damaging the disc? I want to sell this and figure it would be worth more once clean.

Nothing's taking the ink off... the sticker residue will come off with acetone, lacquer thinner, maybe even purell. Watch out not to wipe the hot stamp though.

I didn't contact the owner because I figure a brand new disc in the used basket at PIAS was done intentionally. One man's trash is another man's treasure.

Anyway, I just didn't want to mess up the plastic with any chemicals. Thankfully, the sticker is under the flight plate, so it wouldn't get on the stamp.

What you can't get off with Alcohol or Acetone, aint coming off.

Ha, Sorry. Totally missed the PIAS part there. yeah, like the other's said if it doesn't come off with acetone it ain't coming off. I've had mixed results with Acetone and sharpie. It tends to leave a light stain, but does seem to come off for the most part.

Do not use "Goo Gone" on R-Pro plastic. I had a stubborn sticker on a R-Pro Pig and so I soaked it with a little Goo Gone. As I scraped the sticker away, the sticky never went away. Quickly realized it was the plastic coming apart. It looked like skin peeling after a sunburn.

Yeah... don't soak plastic in any solvent. Put a little on a paper towel and quickly wipe the sticker goo off. After I wipe a hot stamp I even take a sponge and wash it with a little dish soap. Lacquer thinner, acetone, etc are nasty, nasty chemicals.

The Goo Gone people make another product, called Goof Off 2, which is formulated not to chew up plastics. I use this.

WD40 has always worked well for me in getting sticker residue off things and I can't for the life of me see it harming plastic.
