How long have you had these and have they been used often?

i picked both of them up used last summer but i rarely used them in favor of my receiver remotes and we have so many devices hooked up to each tv that i was never able to tweak them well enough for my gf to use em easily. all the buttons respond well, etc.

i have kept working batteries in them pretty much the entire time, which i'm not sure if that's better for them or worse (i know with some devices capacitors will dry out without juice running to em).

the 520 has sold. the 360 version is pretty much identical to the 520 aside from the color and it has 8 additional buttons (A/B/X/Y and clear, display, title, and enter).
