While mechanics are crucial to the disc golf throw, it's important to have your body in shape to throw. Talk about conditioning and injuries here.

OK, I've had a pain in my right side sort of in thr front, near the liver/appendix area since playing DG yesterday. Today, it is still there, and I can't develop any power/distance. Is this a DG injury? How is it likely to resolve? Is my tournament this weekend ruined?

it comes from throwing too hard. just rest up and you should be fine. drink lots of water.

Take a day or two off from throwing and just rest it and ice it. If approach shots and putting doesn't bother it, just do that. If it stays about the same intensity of discomfort during that time, go in and get it checked.

It seems much better today, but my lower back is giving me fits andmy legs are sore. I think I will try to rest up until the tourney on Saturday, but I really wish I could practice. Disc golf is the only game that's ever made me want to play through the pain.
Ah well, my short game needs lots of work too, so I will focus more on that for now. I just hope not throwing drivers doesn't turn into nose up issues this weekend.
