Traveling to Atlanta

anyone have any advice for courses in the atlanta area?
i saw they have random doubles and stuff....
also i saw the a tier tourney too.
any info on courses would be helpful.

I'm not sure where in atlanta or how long you'll be, but about 1 hour outside of it is a course called flyboy aviation. I played there last year for the collegiate disc golf series event and it is quite possibly the most amazing course in the south east. This is coming from a person who is only 1.5 hours away from charlotte, nc.

I would definitely recommend you play it. Also I've heard that Roswell in appling GA is nice too.

You can't get into Flyboy without an appointment. It's a private course, and from what I hear, incredible.

Perkerson is a good temporary course they set up for Sunday dubs.

Saturday morning is a big time for dubs at Alexander---tons of folks show for that.

Sunday morning, my favorite gig is Peanut dubs at Redan, which if you're going to Atlanta, you should play. It's older, versatile, and fun, and the dubs group is a lot of fun. 10 bucks gets you all in for a round, including 3 or 4 ctps. I've only left a few times without winning something.

Don't play Lenora unless you go to Friday night GLO. It's a wide open, windy, and quite frankly, boring park.

White Oak, Sequoiah are two of my favorites in town.

Not sure what "Roswell in Appling GA" is, but East Roswell Park is a good wooded course.

i watched the atlanta open on sunday and on saturday i played a couple of rounds. 2 at redan park and 1 at sequoiah
