Meh, I'm more of an MMORG man, rather than MMORPG. Though I don't have enough dough for either so it's a moot point.

I'd probably pick EVE anyway if I was forced to start a murpuger.

meh, RIFT is more enjoyable to me......Until GW2 comes out anyway, not hyped on SWTOR at all, bioware is gonna have to prove to me that they know how to make a multiplayer game before i buy in to that game

I'm trying to stay wowfaithful but I swear the developers are doing everything in their power to get me to stop playing. I absolutely loved arena's but they became twice the grind they were and now they're shoving rated battlegrounds down my throat if I want to max my conquest points each week. I'm really close to telling them to shove it up their asses on the boards and quitting indefinitely. I fucking hate the games devs. Ghostcrawler can crawl off a cliff for all I care.

(inB4JUSTPLAYRIFT) My PC can't do Rift justice so I haven't bothered, I'm sure it's good though. Maybe if I upgrade in the near future.

I was debating on Rift. I've played WoW on and off since the damn Beta in like, '05. I've left and come back probably about 7 or 8 times. Joining up for an expansion, getting bored with it and not being able to do stuff with my guild. Pvp'd almost exclusively for several years, got tired of it....

My subscription ends tomorrow actually. I've started up on other MMOs like LOTR, and Warhammer, I just always felt like I was taking a step back in the evolution of gaming. With Rift, it looked awesome because of the random rifts opening up in zones. I can see how it can bring a whole community together to work as a team. That's my thing. Team strategy. Also, the whole 'Soul' speccing looked VERY interesting. Being able to create some really cool hybrid classes really made me turn my head.

I'd love to get into it, but I dunno if I really want to get involved with another MMO. I'm into so many things and I'm worried that it'll just take over other things that I need to stay on top of. Plus it'll prolly kill my right wrist. I can thank Vanilla for giving me carpal tunnel problems. Imagine being a dagger rogue back in the day of Molten core raids.... Backstabbing/Sinister striking REPEATEDLY for 4 hours at a time.

Well it sounds like the perfect time to give something new a try, both the rifts/realmwide invasions and the soul system really add alot to the mmo formula, the flexibility of the classes is insane, I can switch from full dps spec to healing to support and back again mid battle if needed and I still have 3 roles and tons more souls to unlock......there really is nothing like facing down a full scale invasion boss with 150+ other players all working together to take him out

I still might buy it. Just waiting a bit. I've been burning spare cash on my bike recently. Just had to blow $250 on some forks from a guy on a forum. Hopefully this'll be the last major part that I need to buy for the bike.
Then I can decide if I wanna blow $60 on a game. Also I'll be able to decide if I'll have the time for it.

Probably gonna join the GW2 camp as well when it comes out, so far it seems awesome. And no monthly payment is not a small bonus. Battlefield 3 I have as well preordered, so you'll be dying to my supershooting there as well!

GW2 will be amazing no doubt. Hopefully it will get other games off the sub model. I don't mind the sub model and I don't mind buying a client but I hate doing both.

I love gaming but I haven't really jumped into MMO yet. I played trail-WOW and thought it was good but not great.

RIFT looks pretty good but I'd have to upgrade my graphics card. Plus I don't really like the whole "you can be a DPS and a healer and a tank and then a basketweaver all at once!". To me - RPGs are fun because you mold your character into a specific role or specialist. The whole "you can be everything just by clicking X" doesn't do it for me. Different strokes for different folks.

I will definitely be giving GW2 a hard look though.

I'm about this () close to going back to FFXI. As soon as I get a steady job you can belive I'll be playing something. I havn't even looked at an MMO in a good while. Barely recall what Rift is, lol. Remember seeing it though.

I'm waiting patiently for guild wars two, I feel like it's been on verge of release for 2 years now. The original guild wars has the best pvp of any mmorpg hands down.

Been playing WoW since release. Tried a few others ( age of conan, lord of the rings online, eve online, star trek online ) but they were never aas good as WoW.

I would have a look at allods, but since I picked up discgolf again I dont even have enugh time for WoW, so I wont be trying any new games anytime soon.
