Disc should be on ESPN at 2 in the morning or something. If poker and juggling and pool and badminton are on espn, disc should be on it. People would enjoy it.

And get FireFox compatible. I'm tired of sites assuming that everyone uses Internet Exploiter...

I use firefox and dgtv works fine. I had to download some kind of plug in for firefox to make work, but it's fine now.

Unfortunately that plugin is NOT available for Linux platform... Maybee I can make Mplayer work...

Seems to be working.

Ok so any disc golfers running Linux: use mplayer as a plugin in Firefox.

What version of the mplayer-plugin do you have? My about:plugins page in firefox says:

Code: Select all
mplayerplug-in 3.21

    File name: mplayerplug-in.so
    mplayerplug-in 3.21

Video Player Plug-in for QuickTime, RealPlayer and Windows Media Player streams using MPlayer
JavaScript Enabled and Using GTK2 Widgets

MIME Type    Description    Suffixes    Enabled
video/fli    FLI animation    fli,flc    Yes
video/x-fli    FLI animation    fli,flc    Yes
video/vnd.vivo    VivoActive    viv,vivo    Yes
application/x-nsv-vp3-mp3    Nullsoft Streaming Video    nsv    Yes
video/divx    DivX Media Format    divx    Yes
video/vnd.divx    DivX Media Format    divx    Yes
audio/basic    Basic Audio File    au,snd    Yes
audio/x-basic    Basic Audio File    au,snd    Yes
audio/x-scpls    Shoutcast Playlist    pls    Yes

I'm using firefox 1.5.0.1 and SimplyMEPIS 3.4.1, but I still get the 'missing plugin' shpeel when visiting discgolftv.com...

disc golf tv is really nice. once it gets going its going to have lots of potential. I would like to see more lessons and reviews. the player walk and talks are cool, watching barry schultz putt is inspiring.

i saw tim harding from dgtv out at the course. practiced some drives with him and he watched me throw and pointed some things out that really helped. super nice guy.
