Looking for Mid-Range Discs

Postby nerojr » Fri Mar 23, 2007 11:30 am

I'm in the market for some mid-range discs. I've thrown wasps, buzz's, elements, spiders and rocs. I'm not sold on any of these discs.

I'm willing to try just about any mid-range disc.

Have plenty to trade.

it is a millenium disc - midrange that is my favorite and only midrange disc that I use! It holds any line you put on it, hyzer, flat, anhyzer - I have multiple aces with one and many field aces or huge upshots!

I highly recommend getting one!

Or maybe a md1 would work out for you. What was it about those midranges that you didn't like?

The md1 is to close to a roc. I just not comfortable throwing the roc. I'm looking that is predictable and comes out of your hand clean. I really likeed the spider but, the more it beat in the flippy it got. The buzz and wasp are easy to get distance out of but I lack accuracy with these discs.

Try a coyote, its a nice disc somewhere between a spider / roc......
Similar flight to a buzz, but to me feels more comfortable in my hand.
I still dont throw em, though, im true to my rocs.

nope they are slightly larger in diamater than most innova or discraft drivers.
Just looked on the pdga PDF of approved discs 21.2 CM diamater = 176 gram max weight same as sabres, while most distance drivers are 21.1 which is a 175 max.

interesting is avengers and preds are supposedly legal to 176 as well, yet I have never seen one.
