Is there a particular reason you were aiming for a Discraft sponsorship instead of Innova? Seems like you'd be better suited to Innova since your mixed bag dropped nine of 11 Discraft molds and replaced them all with Innova/Discmania.

I would love to play for either company, but since I'm still in grad school I can't oblige anyone a set list of tournaments to attend. So since I wouldn't be doing either company a service by playing for them, I'd rather just throw what I'm used to (and have bins and bins of backups of).

2 discs really welcomed me back today
A. JK Aviar - my old 2 1/2 year putter was lights out today.
B. PD - I don't need wraiths or surges when I have a PD. That disc compliments my playing style ridiculously well.

After throwing valkyries for a long time and then giving them a break the C-TD is fantastic. It seems to be a little easier to flip up flat from hyzer than a valkyrie but also has a good fade at the end of it's flight for nice consistency. I am really liking them.

Midranges:
3rd Run ESP Comets X 2 - General line shaping
KC Roc X 2 - Different shots, stall hyzers, stall anhyzers

Fairway Drivers:
Leopard - Workable and a little shorter than my PD's for low line tunnel shots and what not
S-PD's X 3- from thrashed to brand new

Distance Drivers:
Boss X 2 - One stable new one and one used up first run (Thinking about testing the waters on some destroyers again... haven't thrown them in forever)
C-PD2 - Overstable Duties and wind fighting

Utility:
Glow Champ Firebird (the flat kind) - Thumbers, spike hyzers, sidearms, sidearm rollers.

so I suffered a casualty recently...

I lost my favorite ce leopard. This thing got me through worlds in 2010 and was my workhorse leopard. I don't have anything like it anymore so I decided it'd be good to try something new maybe (and something that wasn't so expensive to replace).

Here is the new bag:
2 KC Aviars - Putting
1 JK and 1 KC for driving
Zone (I'm trying it again in place of the ce rhyno)

2 ESP Comets
2 Rocs

CTD (in place of the leopard)
3 PD's

Boss x 2
C - PD2

I don't have a C TD but do have S TDs and they are way faster than Leos and fade more and have a higher power requirement.

It is definitely faster, but I think it will work fine.

I'm totally on board with simplifying and minimizing molds now that the wind has died downin DFW. At the moment, I'm using 3 discs: aviar; roc, mini.

For certain corses and/or conditions, I think I might still use a hyzer flip and roller disc (e.g., leopard) and a wind and overhead disc (e.g., firebird), but that's basically it.

Well I took the bosses out at the moment to throw some C-DD2's just for the fun of it. I only use bosses for wide open shots; everything else the PDs are used for. Some people up here in the mountains and down in Charlotte have really been liking them, so why not jump on board

Putters:
2x KC's - for putting
1 JK - for driving
1 KC - for driving
Zone - Overstable putter thing

Midranges:
2x ESP Comet - 1 flippy / 1 new
2x Roc - 1 straight / 1 new
CMD2 - Fun and a little farther than both in wind

I find the DD2's to have a slightly lower power requirement than a boss. Bosses do vary a lot in stability though. I throw the E* DD2s obviously but because of my comfort with my Wraiths I only throw the DD2 about 1-2 shots per round, and that only on longer/open courses. I aced at Eastway with a Wraith btw. That hole would be a crush with a C-TD (440', even if a bit downhill).

Just stopping in to let you guys know that I'm liking the CDD2's still.

For a natural hyzer thrower, I'm liking these right out of the box because they are pretty controllable from hyzer. Popped flat, they tend to turn a bit, but popped hyzer I'm getting some nice lines with them with a predictable fade at the end of the flight. I've been told by a few people that this sweet spot won't last for a long time, so I'm kinda waiting to see what they do once beaten in a bit more.

Time will tell.
