Any MMO heads out there?

I deleted WoW from my comp after messing with Rift. If I was single I'd probably be on some kind of MMO right now. Rift was fun, I did a week trial thru a friend. I just can't see myself spending that much time at a computer again right now.
From what I understand, Blizz is just dragging by and stringing people along with updates to Cata. I was pvping with a Holy Pally and loving it. Then with Cata they ruined that for me with the change in dynamics to healing.
Some old guildies are telling me that they're struggling to get enough people for 10 mans lately and that the updates really aren't offering anything great. I miss the old days of it tho. When I had a group of about 5-7 RL friends all running around tearing shit up.

Awww man, cause I did a couple back to back Warsong Gulches and there was an UD Disc Priest named Smigles whom I made it my mission to shove my 2H axe up his ass sideways as often as possible

I tell you what I miss, I miss those oldddddd school Alterac Valleys that were 5-10 hours long. That was the shit.

I've got some screen shots somewhere of some pretty cool stuff. Like the front gates of IF COVERED in bodies back in Vanilla when that huge boss was let loose into the world. And one where I was testing my Shammy's new Elemental build in Wrath in an AV and hitting over 1 billion damage.

I switched my main to my holy pally for Cata. I loved it before then. I couldn't dps for crap, but I could keep a whole line of people alive in pvp, along with myself. It was pure awesome being a team player like that. You'd slowly watch the mobs stop working on the front lines and come straight to you. And then you'd take a massive beating and just laugh at em.

With my Shammy in pvp, I loved healing because it was super versatile. I was a mover man. I wasn't one of those that dropped my totems and called it a day. I'd switch up my totems on the fly often. It was tough with all the clicking all over the place but man, I helped some friends do some mass murder.

You would LOVE the state of the game right now then. Healing is so overpowered I frequently want to smash my keyboard out of frustration when trying to kill a disc priest or a holy pally. Resto shaman's are still a huge pain in the ass in Arena but they will go down, Disc Priests and Holy Pallys? IMPOSSIBLE TO FUCKING KILL.
