In Janesville, WI July 31st - August 6th, who wants to play?

I'll be in Janesville, WI for work next week. I won't know my full schedule until Thursday morning, but I think the best time to go play would be that Sunday evening. If anyone lives in the area, getting in a round would be sweet.

Hrmmm. I don't know my work schedule that far in advanced but I will let you know when I am open. My birthday is the 5th and I'm playing a tournament the sixth so those days would be bad. When you find out more about your schedule you should let me know.

So I'm staying in Janesville, but traveling to Ft Atkinson. What would be the best course to play?

If you don't want to travel very far, lustig park is in janesville and is an alright course. Lot of mid shots with some elevation and big oak trees. If you don't mind traveling to play some better courses, Madison has 3 nice courses and two are really close to each other (vallarta ast and hiestand) and there is also a nice little disc golf shop across the street from hiestand (glide). Mickas works there.

How far away is Madison? I'm working 12 hour shifts for a software conversion at the hospital.

It looks to be about 45 minutes to Madison from Janesville. Lustig isn't that bad of a course if you don't want to drive super far.

I'm 25m from janesville.
Your options are limited, unfortunately.
18 in janesville.
18 in whitewater.
54 in madison.
36 in rockford.
18 in watertown or marengo.

Madison is the best out of the selection. About 30-45m from janesville. Rockford is fun for drivers.
Janesville can be played putters only on 15 of the 18 holes.
Whitewater putters only 17 out of 18.

holy cow! leave it to a W.I.S.C.O. to take an extra 15-20minutes to get somewhere. jainesville to madison should take nno more than 30min unless you go at the worst time where you may see some "traffic" (no such thing as traffic in WI except the contruction traffic in Milwaukee).

I just google mapped lustig to hiestand. I don't live in janesville, hell I have been there three times in my life, so why would I know exactly how far it is to get there? Typical Fib.

I'm in Janesville on the weekends I have something going on later in the evening on Sunday, but I could get a round in at Lustig around 4ish.

Within 30mins order of courses i would play
Hiestand - Madison (there is such a huge difference bw am and pro tees. am is FUN and pro is a hard challenge)
Vallarta-Ast - Madison (so well groomed and kept. a fun layout. not necessarily hard if your good at hitting your lines)
Anna Page East - Rockford (many like the west better but i find it repeatitive. the east is old school hard. requires good line shaping and placement)
Elver - Madison
Anna Page West -Rockford
Lusting - Jainesville

Smith - I like you. I agree whole heartedly with what you mentioned on Hiestand, VA, and AP-East. When I think of Hiestand, I think long tees. In fact, it's listed in the top 5 courses on my Team DGA page.

I see Timko doing 12 hr shifts, ai yi yi

Lustig can be done in 1 hour.. I have finished the course in 30 minutes with a light jog and the blesssing of many many wonderful disc golfers to let me pass them.
