I need help making a bag

Postby rusch_bag » Wed Jul 27, 2011 9:46 am

I like too many molds and don't know what to put in my bag and I need to commit to some shit. I shoot equally well with whatever I have in there it seems. I prefer throwing relatively flat with a touch of hyzer, but am fully able to shape lines and throw numerous shots. I can get a teebird right about 400 when I am not hurt and can forehand around 330 (straight shot, flexed out can go further). I was rated 975 but I have played a couple tournaments hurt now and will be going down. These are the different molds I have had in my bag at some point during this year.

Putters
kc aviar
small bead aviar
wizard
warlock
p2
magnet
challenger
focus
rhyno

Mids
roc
buzzz
wasp
flying squirrel
meteor
md2
md1
blaze

drivers
teebird
tl
eagle x
jls
xl
stalker
striker
predator
firebird
xxx
spirit
avenger
pd
olf
td
ols
wraith
surge
destroyer
nuke
dd2
force
pd2
ape

Anyway, it is too many.

So, you guys should help me make a bag that I can stick with for awhile. I have too many discs so I probably have whatever you want to say as long as it is a current production model. I won't throw OOP discs. Help me out.

edit - I missed a ton of molds :(

I'd say...
Wizard/Rhyno (I've found it nice to have the wizard for off the tee and for long approaches, and also it will act like almost any other putter inside the circle. I also mentioned the Rhyno as it has helped me on holes where I think there is a risk of my putter rolling away, the Rhyno is good for landing flat and suctioning on the ground)
Roc/Meteor (One stable with one understable, everyone has had success with the roc, very versatile, and it's also nice to have something fit that understable spot as well, that being the meteor)
TeeBird/Predator (or Firebird in the Predator spot, depends what you like better. Obviously you know they're very similar, so I'd go with whatever you're getting better distance out of. Anything overstable like an FB or Pred is nice to have. Also I'd give the same advice with the TeeBird and Eagle, whatever you've had better success with I'd throw in the bag. Can't go wrong with either or.)
Destroyer/Wraith/Q-OLF (You might not want that many in the max-distance slot, but if you think you can manage it, I'd put all of them in the bag, all three are solid discs.)

i think my gameplan is pretty much fool-proof.... unless you would rather throw rocs than buzzz's and wasps....
