Hyzerline49's Bag

Postby Hyzerline49 » Thu Jul 14, 2011 9:05 am

2x og wizard - putting
esp zone- sidearm approaches 250 and under
(zone is likely being replaced with a dga breaker, simply because the breaker has a bead. it skips less and is more comfortable to throw backhand as well)

4x ching rocs- very flippy to decently overstable
esp wasp- fairly overstable. (more than any roc i've thrown)

3x star teebirds - flippy to fairly overstable
3x Firebird - 2x star (chewed and new), flat top 12x
3x star Xcal - worked in bottom stamp, newish 1st run, super beefy echo star.

Do you ever use your wizard off of the tee? Or strictly for putting?

you would have to feel them to believe them! they have a concave top and are firm but tacky... but like all gateway plastic, you have to find the right ones... i got 4 of the ones that i like from the same run, i hope they last me a long time!

I've had D and FLX avengers and they both beat in to solid discs, my FLX was indestructible, no gouges and no deep scratches after a fair amount of use. The D never became to flippy, and has tons of gouges in it, got so bad that I had to sand it down at times, and it still never became flippy. Avengers are solid, they just never stayed in the bag because there is always something out there that could fly just as well for 50 extra feet.

thats the whole reason i want them in my bag though! there is too big of a gap between my trackers and forces. the avenger seems to fill the gap perfectly!

Yeah, I don't carry either of those discs but I feel like the gaps have been filled for me. Honestly it has only taken four discs to shoot some of my best rounds... maybe five, discing down is a whole hell of a lot easier on me when I can afford to do it. Your bag isn't ridiculous though, you have a lot of shots covered and I would assume that you really only use about five to six of those discs regularly, unless I'm just way off...

it's just nice to know that i can handle a good variety of shots. it takes alot of pressure of me knowing that i have a disc that will get a specific task done, and done well... i try to keep it simple at the same time though
