I'll admit I'm kinda disappointed with sales so far. I have enough to break even, but only an $35 to put towards server costs for the next year . Another 35 sold discs will pay for hosting for the forum and the website for another year.

That sucks. I know it certainly seems like we've lost a lot of people in the last couple of years, and there are many regulars who have not been showing up much lately. Hopefully if you keep it going for a couple more weeks the orders will continue to trickle in as more people check into DGR who haven't been here in a while.

rusch you need to man the fuck up and buy a dgr ion. youre on here enough to feel a desire to contribute more than your mere words im sure.

hang it up on the wall. when the time comes, take it out to the practice field to play catch with some of your big-arm friends. if you learn the ion you cant help but to love the ion.

When do you need to have our orders in by? I'd like to order a few but won't be able to until Sep. 1st or 2nd.

Are these printed/shipped by order, or are you waiting for all orders to be taken before printing and then shipping? I'm just curious if I should be watching my doorstep/mailbox or not.

This is sort of like the DGR PD's. I'm taking pre-orders, then ordering that number of discs from MVP. I'll let folks know when I've sent the order off. Maybe in like a week? We almost have enough sold to cover either the forum or the website (but not both) for a year.

People hate to initially admit that a new putter/new version of their putter is better than what they are using (unless they don't practice and want to blame their current putter). Over time however good wins out. That is what I observed with the release of Ions/improved versions. People kind of gripe at first, wanting to find a reason to discredit the new, but over time succumb to the goodness. When I started putting with Ions I was largely alone...I didn't spend a lot of time here for a couple months and came back surprised that the Ion's popularity had surged. In other words, in a couple months I predict people are going to want more clear DGR Ions.

It's helpful to hear what the goals are... order placed, plus a li'l extra to put toward hosting.

It costs about $200 to host both the site and the forum for a year. I've got a little over $100 now.

If that's what solt said, then I'd take that over what I said. Maybe DGR has some custom mods on the site?
