Flymart @ Worlds

Postby The Clergyman » Sat Mar 31, 2007 3:06 pm

I'm sort of holding out on a few purchases this spring because I'll be at the Worlds (watching :? ). Should I wait for Flymart/Dealer prices or do they actually offer any deals? Maybe I should just get the things I need now - any thoughts?
Today was good. Today was fun. Tomorrow is another one.

I don't recall flymart vendors offering big discounts so much. The lure of the flymarts for me was product variety and uniqueness. I've seen pretty cool custom hotstamps and limited run offerings at flymarts that you typically don't find anywhere else.
It's really a lot of fun getting to talk with guys from other regions so I enjoy shooting the breeze with the vendors just as much as the shopping.

I'm sure a nice batch of Ontario Rocs will be sitting there at the flymart ready for us to gobble up :)
My brother told me the kewlest thing he found about the flymarts out there was getting to meet some of the owners of the different disc makers, ie Dave Mac from Gateway etc..
