In a tournament the PDGA Rules give you 30 seconds to make a shot. In a casual round you should get 20 seconds. In a casual round where the mosquitoes are vicious and swarming ( like we have experienced the last month or so) you should get 7 seconds.
When you are standing around, waiting and waiting and waiting, you might as well just go to the Red Cross and donate. An article in a local paper claimed the mosquitoes were worse this year than the last decade. Maybe, maybe not but I know they are TERRIBLE. Even Deet is no real protection.
So c'mon, you don't really need to play slowly. Your best protection from the damn mosquitoes is movement ( and swinging your towel around your head constantly) so let's all develop a little efficiency.
