Just started to get into Philip K Dick with Martian Time Slip, first of 5 in a single hardbound collection. That book was nuts and left me contemplating my own phsycotic health. I can't wait to read the next one Dr. Bloodmoney.

Have you read "the man in high castle"?

Reading Agassi's pouty, self-indulgent, but not half bad autobio & Southern Belly, by John T. Edge, and rereading Mama Black Widow, by Iceberg Slim.

Reading Why We Suck: A feel good guide to staying fat, loud, lazy and stupid by Denis Leary. For some odd reason Denis Leary makes me laugh.

Just finished reading Shit My Dad Says by Justin Halpern. It was like reading a book about my dad.

the man in the high castle is pretty good. I also liked Do Androids Dream of Electric Sheep? (the book blade runner was based off of)

Oh yeah, this thread. Been reading a lot more since I got an Android phone (Kindle+Aldiko and a ton of epubs...): Reread the first 13 Discworld books, had only read the Finnish translations before, Hobbit and LotR, most of The Coming of Conan the Cimmerian (yeah yeah, been on a fantasy kick...), Casino Royale (damn Bond is a tremendous pussy in that) and some artsy fartsy fine literature in the form of Jeremy Clarkson's "On Cars".

I have to say that Howard's Conan books seem to me to be seriously underrated, and Fleming's Bond books seem to be seriously overrated. And that Clarkson is funny but gets tedious in written form.

Howard writes good trash fantasy in the conan books.

I've also recently read Dune and the Foundation Trilogy and both were badass. Dune was a bit more exciting but I enjoyed both thoroughly and both will likely get a re-read.
