Dave, I've had a Charge since July and have had no problems with it. The 4G network is a big improvement but it depends on where you live and how good your signal is. I travel a lot for work and I swear my phone is faster in Oklahoma City than in Wichita. My wife works for Verizon and thinks I am crazy. She does say that some people have had problems with battery life but I haven't experienced any. The screen is is big and has beautiful resolution.

Heard the camera's pretty substandard on it. Plus wasn't top of the line tech when it came out, otherwise I'm guessing it's a decent toy if you root it, not a big fan of Samsung's stock ROMs.

Personally waiting for the quad core tegra HTC that's coming, or probably skipping that generation and waiting for the next. Still pretty happy with my DHD.

Besides the camera, it's top of the line for the time. Also, it doesn't have touchwiz, it's 100% stock (except for the Verizon which has 2 Verizon apps on it preloaded)

I HATE HTC Sense with a passion.

Also, I'm balls deep in rooting and roming my phones. Besides the lockscreen, my Droid Charge has 0 touchwiz on it.

Each to their own, I prefer the Sense over anything other I've seen/tried as the UI for Android. Great thing about Android is that you can customize it pretty much to anything you'd like it to look like. I tried MIUI the other day, it was fun but since I'm dependant on the HTC clock widget I couldn't use it.

It looks almost same, but doesn't have the ability to work as a timer which I need for making food
And MIUI didn't seem THAT special to me that I'd want to change away from Sense.

What about tablets? I should have it Xoom here tomorrow to mess with. It's a wifi only, so I get stock ICS. I'll probably end up putting CM9 on it though.

I have the Charge and the Xoom. Both are phenomenal. I will advise you to get the swiftkey app for the Xoom. It will allow u to type with your thumbs.

Edit. I'm on my Xoom right now. I got it refurbished in Dec for 199.

Swiftkey for the Xoom is vital. I wasn't very happy with the keyboard. Once I added swiftkey it all changed.

Got my xoom in a bit ago and I'm enjoying it. I like the screen aspect ratio on the ipad more though. Between my laptop and my Charge, I'm wondering how much use this will actually get.

Has anybody personally heard anything about the Motorola Triumph?

Moto makes good stuff. I'm actually getting a Droid Bionic because I miss Moto phones. Samsung has better looking screens though.
