So I am playing winthrope gold this weekend for Am Dubs. I've played it a few times on the sunday after USDGC but never for an actual tourney so I am busting out my Kong and carrying a few extra discs for shots I am not so sure about

Distance:

Star Destroyer - super stable
Star Destroyer - kinda stable, good controllable distance driver
Champ Archon - max D, anny lines, tailwinds

control/fairway:

1.2 SOLF - new, feel like I'm gonna be throwing this a lot
1.1 SOLF - newish, super easy 360-380'
1.1 SOLF - beat, controlled distance lines
1.1 SOLF - thrashed, turn over drives, rollers
CE EX - my baby
CE EL - my other baby
11x firebird - all crazy trick shot duties
Z Pred - keltik's baby
Z pred - beat to perfection

Mids:

DX roc - new, stable duties (might be replaced with a star roc day of if really windy)
DX roc - newish, in that sweet stable spot
DX roc - laser beam straight
Z comet - new, old school comet
Z comet - beat, loves gentle anny lines
ESP comet - thrashed, random trick shots

Putters:
BB Aviar - new, stable
BB Aviar - beat, straight
SM aviar - slightly flippy
SM aviar - super flippy
KC aviar x2 - putters

Way more discs than I normally carry but the other times I've played the course I've found myself wishing I had an extra couple of discs for lines I don't normally throw so instead of taking that chance, I'm bringing the extra discs.

Are the SM aviars just normal small beads? I put one of those back in the bag and am loving it. Does innova still mold the small bead for Millennium or Discmania or is it gonzo?

And the ap^ as well. Mill is the only one making sb "aviars" ...innova no longer does.
always looking for:
flat pink/red barstamp buzzzs, ce aviars, pearly pro candy fb's, pearly champion gators (fr or stock stamp),

Practice bag for the winter. Using a Kong to carry a couple of more discs right now:

Distance

Champ destroyer - domey and max weight.
Star Destroyer: - S/DS, semi-stable
Star Destroyer - beat, the work horse distance driver

SOLF - 175 and newish, controlled hyzers and flex shots
SOLF - 172, a 2007 worlds biggest stamp 1.1, pretty neutral even though it's new
RR - star, 172, nice turnover

Fairways

11x Firebird - flat and overstable
11x firebird - flat and surprisingly straight, it's pretty beat up though
Z pred - the line shaping overstable disc
10x eagle - the workhorse
CE Eagle - the other workhorse
11x EL - the most understable eagle ever

Mids

Star roc - nice and stable
DX roc - slightly beat
DX Roc - beat to straight, the workhorse mid now that's windy out
ESP comet - the workhorse mid when it's calm out
ESP comet - flippy and beat

Putters:

DX BB aviar - new and mostly stable
DX BB aviar - beat to straight
DX SM aviar - slightly flippy
DX SM aviar - pretty flippy
KC aviar - 169, main putter
150 aviar P&A - jump putter, most approaches.

random update as I'm trying out new discs:

Distance:

Star destroyer - overstable
Star destroyer - distance
SOLF - new 1.2, stable
SOLF - new 1.1, the same '07 worlds one as above
Champ Valk - understable and weird line shaping duties, love this more than the RR even though I love the RR

control:
Z pred - new, overstable
Z pred - kinda new, less stable and very workable
11x firebird - overstable, really a utility disc
10x eagle - workhorse
10x eagle - workhorse mk2
11x EL - the crazy flipper

3x DX rocs
2x ESP comets

2 DX BB aviars
2 SM aviars/omegas
KC pro aviar for putting.

The RR is a great disc but me and it randomly don't see eye to eye on what it should do. The valk and I get along like pigs and shit so it is probably gonna take the RR's place. Also I have some great older 11x firebirds I love throwing but they are like the perfect blend of green and yellow to blend in perfectly with dead leaves so I took them out in favor of bright green and pink preds.

If anyone is reading this and wants to trade some domey champ valks for some star RRs, let me know.

Are they good in a max distance capacity? I'm deliberating b/w a Pro Valk or a Star Valk but then you threw this into the equation and got me wondering.

yeah they are really nice for max D. I actually used domey champ valks as my max D disc back in the day when I was working my way up the speed ladder.
