Time for an updated, "Best Of" section?

A more viable comparison would be the Force to something like the Teerex. The current Teerex mold would pull a GPA of 3.11.

The firebird and pred are better compared to discs like the banshee, viper, xxx, etc. while the force is more in a class with the xcaliber, teerex, ape, flick, etc.

That was more along the lines of my point. When I think overstable driver I think resistance to turn and predictable fade first and foremost. Distance isn't priority. IMO, a force isn't the same class as a pred, firebird, etc.



The flippy force is a tourney stamped Z. 170, moderate dome.

i tend to split overstable drivers into three classes.

1. distance overstable
2. moderately overstable
3. piggishly overstable

this is why the "list" gets too time consuming
when i made the list there was really only two classes (2 and 3).

3 is pretty much midrange type distances.
2 is stuff you can turn over into the wind and trust it to fade (or it doesn't turn but has a more moderate fade, e.g. z avenger)
1 only covers a handful of models.

granted, i could take most discs in the #1 class and assuming they have enough turn resistance, i could still make them do everything from category #3.

buzz is good depending on the person. an aero also makes a great first disc. a first dist for a smaller women or child i would go wedge. someone switching from another disc sport or with disc experience go with the zepplin.

I don't have a lot of buzz experience, but I would venture to say it would be for a new player with a decent bit of power right? I looked at some wedges and they will be great for my wife when she gets back into the sport.
