Got a case of Yard's "Ales of the Revolution" from my boss for the holidays:
Thomas Jefferson's Tavern AleDecent. Advertised as a Golden Ale, I'd say it's akin to a denser Bass or something along the lines of a Pale Ale.
Poor Richard's Tavern Spruce AleInteresting. Not great, but interesting. Because of the spruce that's included during the boil it tastes kind of like a lighter IPA that has the wrong balance of hops/malt.
George Washington's Tavern PorterIMO, this is the best of the three. Dark, faintly smoky, and fairly smooth without being too bitter. I'm not a giant Yard's fan, but I would drink this one again.
