Westside has a midrange it looks like, it as a Diameter of 21.7 and a max weight of 180.1

Notes:
Stable mid range driver is under construction, the first mid from Westside, preliminary release period is during early spring 2012. Flight numbers according Westside are speed 6, glide 5, HSS 0 and LSS 1.

Looks like it will be released in VIP, Tournament and BT* plastic.

oh also it's supposed to come out in March, the available weights will be 161-175 (wonder why it isn't up to 180), and it's finnish name is the pursi.

Can't wait to get my hands on some Westside pursi.

If it's anything like the proto, it'll have a nice glide, neutral flight with some fade at the end up to 90% power, after that it started needing hyzer quite a bit to get it flying straight. LOVED how it worked with anhyzers. Felt like a nice disc all in all.

Is it a mid? Fairway? What disc would you compare it to?

How does it compare to the Core?

It's a mid. It's pretty slow as well, or at least the proto is. Has a bit of Buzzz in it, as well as some comet. My brain's a bit fuzzy at the moment since I seem to have a flu so can't think of any direct comparisons. I only have thrown the one proto I have so can't guarantee it's the model example of what it'll be.

Has a quite bit of core in it now that you mention it. Core takes high power better than the proto did though, as the increase in understability was drastic when throwing with 100% instead of 80%. The Warship's glide is better. I guess better comparison would be a mix of core and comet than buzzz and comet.

If the production models have the sudden highspeed understability under control, it'll be a great disc indeed.

Fuse's way faster and more understable in my experience, Warship had more fade too, but marginally so. To me the mold itself looks and feels like a modified Pain mold.
