Solty - So what is UB Disc Golf about?
The goal with UB Disc Golf is to bring a new graphic design approach to disc golf. Crisp clean designs can make disc golf seem appealing to the masses and not just some hobby for the hippies, but a serious sport for everyone.

Solty - What was your motivation to start UB Disc Golf?
When I started playing disc golf I was constantly looking for disc golf apparel but what I found wasn’t ever quite up to par. The only items out there were cheap shirts with thrown together designs, and that didn’t sit well when I constantly had all of these design ideas floating through my head. My first two designs weren’t what I wanted either and then the crane design flew into my head one night and this new line of apparel formed.

Solty - Is there a Team UB yet?
Actually there is, during the summer of 2011 a new player made his name know on the Southern National Disc Golf scene. I quickly realized I had to grab Cameron Colglazier because man he can play. Within the first fourteen months of playing he took 15th in the Alabama States beating Garret Gurthie, Avery Jenkins, and Eric Mccabe. Shortly after he head to New York and took 2nd in Am Worlds. We are very proud to have him on Team UB.

Solty - What are the goals for the future?
We have a couple of big projects in the works right now for UB Disc Golf, the main one being the new backpack style bag. I can’t give out to much info right now on this project but the intended date of release is mid May of this year. The rough draft prototype images are out now on our Facebook. The next prototype should bring us a little closer to the intended end product. As for other projects, a full line of hats and performance fabric collard and regular shirts are in the works.

Solty - Anything else you would like for us to know?
Well I am really looking forward to meeting everyone at this years Memorial in Arizona, each day I get a little more pumped. I will have a table set up at the flymart during check in on February 28th. Within the coming month ubdiscgolf.com will finally be finished and our social media sites should start to come together more.
