Nah he wasn't, it's easy to tell when he's joking and when he's upset and he was straight up salty.

P.S. Frank, it sounds like the AM Worlds course schedule is going to be released in the next couple weeks and from the rumors I have heard it is going to be pretty solid.

I heard they aren't using Allison since it might not be done by the time worlds rolls around and are instead using Reedy which is cool. I'm pretty stoked to see what the worlds committee can come up with now that they know what the people want.

I've met plenty of people who complain about the condition of courses, when they themselves never put shovel into dirt, clippers to underbrush, mower to grass, poured a tee, built a bench, or never bothered to pick up trash on the course. I've also met plenty of people who complain about tournaments, when they themselves never volunteered to help run an event, raised money from sponsors, hosted visiting players in their homes, etc.. I've run into people playing at their "home course" who have never been to a club meeting, never showed up for a work party, never participated in any leagues or local tournaments, or anything. I'm not interested in hanging out with these people, but I also don't mind that other people's work allows them to enjoy disc golf. This is just the way things work, in every sector of humanity.

But there are some very amazing people in disc golf. I've made so many good friends, and met so many quality people, and I do believe there is something special about disc golf and the people it attracts. It is just a matter of who you decide to associate with, and which crowd of people you try to emulate in your willingness to pitch in and help out. This is really just a simple matter of civics, and civic duty. If you take something, then you must give back, and work together with others to pitch in and help. Otherwise, everything decays. Be a giver, not just a taker.
