I worked with Steve Ganz last year, on the 2011 Pro Worlds website. Hiring Steve is the best decision PDGA ever made, I think we can all look forward to dramatic improvements at PDGA.com in the coming years.

if the pdga lets him make changes..... your right about him being a great choice for the position. he did a lions share of the work for tournaments in norcal these past 10 years didnt he john?

Hi, Ray. Did you hear that the PDGA has a new Technology Director? I was wondering what you thought of that?

Though he is semi-local to me, I know not a thing about the fellow (other than what I read in the press release & the fact that his surname summons the image of a majestic, mushroom-shaped, purple dong helmet every time I hear it), so I have no opinion. Considering the current tragicomically woeful state of their IT, it is almost certainly an improvement, but only time will tell…

i met steve for the first time this past summer and have the pleasure of serving with him on the loco dg club board. one thing i can say about steve is that his heart and passon are in right place. he's also a tech guru and given freedom to implement the necessary changes i have no doubt he will have a positive impact on the PDGA.
