DGA : UNDERTOW?

The SP version is stable. The proline pretty easy to hyzer-flip. My initial reaction is a DGA version of a Striker.

Neither of the pics shows the nose so it's impossible to comment on that.

I'm looking at the profile pic. You can see the nose, but is hard to discern anything useful from it in that pic. To me, it looks really blunt in that pic. Very hard to tell for sure though.

Nope. A buddy of mine throws for them. So I in turn get to throw them when he gets them. He has tried to convert me...but has failed so far

I fondled one of these yesterday, DGA had some at the Otter Open. It has a lot of curvature under the nose, looks very aggressive in profile. The rim feels medium wide (not ultra-wide), and medium depth. It feels pretty good in the hand.

But I didn't get to throw it, the DGA folks were gone by the time I knew they were selling first runs.

Anyways, I know this is going to provide a lot of humor for veteran DGR posters: DGA is apparently describing the Undertow as a "longer Teebird."

Let me clarify this statement...this is based on the sparkle plastic. The proline is less stable.

I don't know why but every time I see Proline plastic mentioned I want to have praline. Luckily this time I actually do have some. *omnomnom*

Got 4 sparkles to test out.
We have 3-5 inches of snow here so testing is limited.
At this point, i'm inclined to agree with the TL comparison.

I had a chance to throw the SP Undertow a little more over the weekend. I really liked it for a faster fairway driver. When thrown with 90% power, I could hyzer flip this thing pretty easily. Dialing it down to 70% was very TL'ish. It is definitely faster than a TL. I would say it falls in the 9 speed category. The one thing that is nice about it, the lip isn't razor sharp like an Avenger/Predator/Tsunami. Very comfortable to grip.
