The Least Changed Bag in the World.

Alright so I re-discovered my love of SOLS's and got a QOLS from my SS so my bag is now:

Max D style stuff (lest used stuff in the bag)
Q Quasar
Q Astra

Controlled D

SOLF - new, gets used a ton as it is straight with good fade
SOLF - slightly beat. This is getting used less now that I am getting some SOLSs
QOLS - newish and tasty good, just added to the bag but it throws like my old QOLSs
SOLS - beat for turnovers. This has taken the place of the Valk/RR for me. Don't really know why I moved away from it in the first place

Fairway/control Drivers:

Z Pred - utility, overstable
10x Eagle - newer and pretty beefy, great for mild/med headwinds
10x Eagle - the sweet spot driver,
S-FD - testing but liking it, could easily take the place of the ELs once I get one beat in.
beat-ass 11x EL - understable utility disc.

Mids

3x DX rocs - all 180, all various stages of wear
2x ESP comets - both 177+, one is pretty beat, the other is pretty fresh.

Putters:
D-P2 - DGR run, pretty nice and is filling the role of new BB aviar
Star no beat aviar - gummy and easy to grip in the winter
SM aviar/Omega - mmmmm tasty straight
SM avair/Omega - Flippy
2x KC Aviars - putters.

The bag is still pretty big (carrying it in my kong) and won't be carrying everything I have listed for much longer. Gonna be going back down to my Silverback soon to get ready for tourney season so one of the putters is gonna come out and I'll prob trim down the control drivers a bit.

Before the redesign this course was all about trick shots and tight gaps. I haven't got to see it since the redesign but I don't suspect I will really need the big D discs too much but just in case I've got my sweetheart destroyer in the bag. The Z Zone kinda forced it's way into the bag after testing as I was throwing it great so out come the P2 for right now. I might include a glow firebird or a super flippy comet after the first round depending on the shots that come up.

And Ions are slowly making their way into the bag but I just don't feel comfortable enough with them yet to put them in the bag for the tourney.

Probably the latter but apparently there are some bombers, After talking to somebody else who has played it tonight there is a 900' hole that you have to place three shots perfectly to set up your next shot. Sounds rough. I'm playing it Friday with a couple guys so I know how much it's going to ruin my weekend.

So I talked to a couple of guys who have been doing a bunch of course work out there. There's like 1-2 holes where you can really throw a max D shot but I have decided to add a QOLS for those long straight shots with no fade.

I've been thinking of tossing a QOLS. Isn't it like a TD?

The power requirement of the less fading QOLS is way higher and it's still way shorter. TDs are closer to a Beast. The D difference is about 30-40'. QOLS is a straight to minimal turn FW and the TD is a fast driver. Both are straight. The QOLS has some wind handling but living where you do will test the limits of the disc at least in headwind scenarios. For straightish shots in calm weather the QOLS and the TD would pair up well for a driver pair other than straight then good fade type of shots.

Played the course today, I'd say the front 11 to 12 are apart of the new course and the rest is pretty much the same story as the old course, some new hole layouts in that first area near the road but pretty much all shorter tight gap shots.

The first half of the holes are butt clenchers, a lot of shoot 320' to a 30' gap then go further. I played with Chuck, DB and Schweby and Schweby made it look easy, he shot a 58 in doubles with DB but Schweby did the heavy lifting. The course is set up to be par 69 and most of the guys I talked to who have played it in singles said low 70's is a solid score, I shot a 75 and played pretty well; just missed 4 or 5 putts i should of made.

The only hole where you really rip it in the open is that old open hole in the field next to the tree line. You play from the old tee that's there about 320' then it dog legs left in to the wood line about 100' right over the creek. The gap is maybe 20-30' wide right there. Other than that the only other long drives are at most 300' wooded and going towards a landing zone.

Orc is longer for me than the QOLS. My first stiff TD was like a slightly beat Beast and the second is more HSS than the first equaling the new Beasts and more LSS than Beasts. Not by a lot but perhaps 10-15' more fade depending on the height.
